Position Summary:

Under moderate supervision, ensuring a high level of accuracy and is proficient in all teller transactions using a computer and ATM settlement process. A service professional with a passion to exceed the expectations for each member served while meeting the established transactional goals. Display strong member service skills when solving problems.

Supervise teller line in the absence of the Head Teller, as needed. Assist Head Teller with daily teller activities and maintains adequate cash flow for the branch. Ability to provide assistance on the platform side as needed. Acts as coach, mentor and trainer to Teller I and II. Watchfulness for all counterfeit monetary instruments.

Education

  • High School Diploma Required
  • General Education Degree (GED) in lieu of High School Diploma Required

Experience

  • 24 Months Teller Experience Required
  • 24 Months Sales/Customer Service Experience Required

Additional Experience Information

Demonstrated proficiency with ATM, TCD and Branch Settlements.

Certification and Licensures

  • Completed BVS Leadership courses

Compensation:

Salary Range per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Senior Teller: $17.55- $25.46

While performing the duties of this position, the successful candidate is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, keyboards or controls; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop or kneel. Must regularly lift and/or move files and equipment up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 25 pound objects. Specific vision characteristics required by this position include close vision, adjust focus, and view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
